I know the value of pursuing studies in a field that aligns with your interests and preferences. I understand the importance of going to a college where you are happy and you feel you belong - a college that helps you thrive. I know this because I have been down many paths in my career.

I have a B.S. in Statistics and Computer Science, and a Diploma in Cost Accounting. After that, I got a Master of Business Administration in Finance followed by Black Belt certification in Six Sigma Quality Methodology in the USA. I have a varied work experience ranging from being a flight attendant in the airline industry to a Program Manager in the technology industry to an Executive Director in a nonprofit organization that created art activities for pediatric cancer patients. I am also a graduate of Indian classical dance - Bharatanatyam.
It was only when I volunteered to be a tutor for a program called AVID - a non-profit program deployed by schools to prepare students for college - that I understood this was my greatest passion. It took a lifetime but I found my calling in this profession.
Now I am a graduate of the College Counseling Certificate program from UCLA. When I am not counseling students, I nurture my million plants and two cats. I also dance, hike the Pacific Northwest with my husband, son, and daughter, and plan my next travel itinerary.
